What a crazy weekend!

994aas So, this weekend has been crazy! I have been doing homework, working, and partying at a bachelorette party. Since I arrived home at 4:30 am, I would have thought that I would be dragging today…I’m sure it’s coming, but I am pretty awake right now. Realize that I have no motivation to do the work I am supposed to be doing or my homework.

I do, however, have the motivation to edit some pics. For my school presentation, a fellow student and co-worker decided that we should have a picture of the biggest machine we make at our facility. Of course, if we just took a picture of a machine, there would be no way to see its magnitude. I could tell you that it is 3/4 the height of the building in which I work or that it takes umpteen rail cars to get it where it needs to go, but that still wouldn’t emphasize how ginormous (now that it is an official word in the dictionary, I can use it) this machine is. So, we put ourselves next to it to show scale. Yeah, I am not even tall enough to hit the bottom of the mud-flaps! And if you look to the right of the picture, you can see a set of stairs that helps people get to the ladder on the machine. It might be easier to click on the picture to get the enlarged view. Then you can see me wearing all my protective personal equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe shoes). If you are interested in knowing what this machine does, it can be found here.

I did complete some knitting projects this weekend, but I’ll hold off on showing you those until I get some pictures back from the bachelorette party I was at…they all tie in really nicely.

Wow that is all I can say about that BIG digger as my youngest son would say. Kinda puts the world in perspective too. Look forward to seeing what you knit.
