Top-Down Fun

I don’t remember if I finally posted a finished picture of the top down red tweedy sweater I was working on, so here it is. Red_top_down

Pattern: Stephanie Japel’s Raglan Cardigan from the Top Down (minus the cardigan part)
Yarn: Valley Yarns 2/4 highland Tweed in Cardinal
Needles: Denise Circulars size 8
Notes: The yarn is a little oily, and requires many washes before the strage oil smell starts to fade. It’s a good price, though, so I can’t complain too much!

I was talking to someone the other day at work about knitting and I was wearing this sweater. He was very surprised when I said that I had knit it. He thought it was store bought. Ha! Fooled you, sucka!

Love the sweater and the tweedyness of the yarn…particularly the neckline…I’m so into blogger patterns these days!
