It’s a Sweet little Spring Sweater

Since I've been so busy, I've actually been really unmotivated to knit as well. I'm just not into any of the projects I have stashed or in my queue. I'm just blah about the whole thing.

Well, the other night when I was going to catch the 10:40 pm (local!) train home, I stopped in the magazine stand and picked up the latest Knit Simple. I really wasn't going to buy it until I saw this one sweater called the Pleat Neck Sweater. I totally was thinking of designing something just like it, but had not gotten around to it, so this was perfect! And I can use my cotton fleece that I have sitting in my stash. AND it's my signature color! Who would have thought?!

I started this on size 6s, and to be honest, I'm thinking I might rip and go with 7s. I don't know why, but I'm just not loving the fabric that is being knit up. Maybe I'm knitting too tightly? Eh, either way, I'm going to rip and start over, and I have my knitting mojo, as Robin likes to say, back.

Yay on knitting mojo being back!! That is a really cute little top and it will look great in that color. Yikes on being on the 10:40 train. I remember those days when I worked at Andersen in the early 90s.

It’s cute! I’m sure it will be cute on you. How awesome is it that they have Knit Simple in the magazine stand @ Union Station (or Ogilvie?)!
