Short Update

So I totally thought that I was going to have time to take pictures and blog this past weekend. As you can see, that didn’t quite happen.

Here are the things that I currently have on the needles:

  1. Japanese Sweater: Do you all remember this sweater? I already have the back done. I got a really good deal on Jaeger Chamonix from Webs since it is discontinued. Now that I have my balls, I don’t care if the rest of you buy them out!!
  2. Go with the Flow Socks:(Interweave knits) I started these back in December during my trip to Vegas. I have about 3 inches of one leg done.
  3. A Sweater for the Ages: This is a sweater from the Yarn Girls’ Guide to Beyond the Basics. I used Popsicle Blue CottonEase. I have the entire sweater done and sewed together. I still need to weave in the ends and sew on the buttons.
  4. Top down Cardigan: I found this pattern on the Lion Brand website. I also had a store-bought sweater that I have been putting off unraveling. I finally unraveled it, and am using that yarn while loosely following the pattern. I am passed the raglan increases at this point.
  5. Not Named Sweater: (my own design) I am working on a sweater that is using Paton’s Classic Wool (love that stuff!). I will try to get the pattern out once I am done.
  6. Random CottonEase Sweaters: In order to learn how to use the knitting machine, I have been designing some sweaters out of CottonEase. They are all in various stages of completion.

Wow! And that’s just the knitting that is keeping me busy…can you imagine throwing in school, cleaning the house, cooking, grocery shopping, work…..I’m exhausted just thinking about it!

Yikes girl! That’s a crazy amount of projects to mix into a busy life! I’m looking forward to seeing pics when you have time 🙂 I’ve been reading, err, lurking about your blog for a while now, enjoying your knitting thoughts and the ocassional Yoda pic.

I also have a bag of Chamonix and I was wondering if you did in fact order the knitting magazine from Amazon and how much did it come to with shipping. Thanks!
