Pink Essential Stripe

Pink_essential_stripe She got me that Wendy. I wanted an essential stripe. I did not use the Aurora 8 that was called for in the pattern, but I did use the economical Patons Classic Wool. Jo-Ann’s had is on sale and has tons of new colors online. I dare you to check them out. I like the completed sweater, but I wish I used that machine washable Aurora 8. I am going to break down pretty soon and actually purchase it. It’s worth paying a little more for the machine washability. Hear that Knit Picks? Get a superwash wool!!! Please.

I am going to hold off on any yarn purchases until I have depleted my stash to oblivion. I’m getting closer. It’s all that Cotton-Ease that I am trying to use up. I will be set with my cotton knits this summer. That and I’ll look like a candy bowl everyday…ahh, gotta love those Cotton-Ease colors!
