in Glam Knits - Texturized Tweed Coat

TweedyCoat6 Recently, my dance card has freed up, thus I have more free time on my hands, so I've been working on the Tweedy Coat. Here is the collar portion all completed. I did not do the full number of repeats as indicated in the pattern. I am a little concerned about having enough yarn to complete the sleeves, and I think if I would have done the complete repeat it would looks a little too over-sized. I like where it hits now, so I'll stick with it for now. If I decide I want to add more rows later, I can always do that!

I'm really jonesing to cast on for Corona, but I will be a good girl and wait. I need to finish the baby sweater, too…I'm working diligently on that as well.

“…my dance card has freed up…” I guess it’s not the first time that expression’s been used, but it made me chuckle. (This may be because I’m rereading some old – and old-fashioned – books that were just rereleased.) (It’s the Betsy-Tacy series. I KNOW. Uncool, maybe, but it’s still fun.)
Love the sweater.

I agree that doing the collar full-size would be overwhelming on your frame. Good call!
I’m sure your dance card will be filled up soon enough – enjoy your time on your own though!

Hey Amanda! Sorry…I don’t have your email or phone number… Was nice seeing you at the shower. Sorry that I missed the fun afterwards! Laurie and I were thinking about going out to Schaumburg for a few drinks sometime. Let us know if you are interested.

Hi, Need help with this pattern. In the section that says separate the sleeves from the body, it seems like the 132 stitches should be in the middle, not on the end. I can’t get the sense of the pattern and am afraid to proceed.
