Monogomy is not for me

in Rocky Coast Cardigan

CostalYarn At least in the world of knitting. I am very happy that I am tying up loose ends with my WIPs, but I gotta tell you – sleeves are boring. I know this is nothing you don’t know, but they are.

Last night I was bored and on the internet. You know where this is going.

I happened across Hannah Fettig’s new book and her designs. I’m a little slow to the party sometimes. But I HAVE to make the Rocky Coast Cardigan. So, I did the pre-order deal and got the pattern early. There is a knit-a-long over at Ravelry, so I jumped on the bandwagon.

Now, the question is what yarn to use? I’ve been trying to use my stash only so that pretty much limits me. I have a bunch of Cascade 220 in my tiny stash, so I picked through that and found this cool gray. There is some discussion that the 220 will be too floppy, but I think that’s what I want.

Swatch time!

I want to knit almost everything in that book and I especially like Rocky Coast.

I’m currently working on Rocky Coast Cardigan with some Kid Classic I had in stash – it’s working out pretty well!
