in Pleat Neck Sweater

I've been diligently working on the Pleat Neck Sweater. I'm thinking if I'm diligent enough, I can get it done and have a new Easter sweater! It's really an easy sweater. I did make some adjustments, though. The original only went to size small (35") and required like 900yds of yarn. Well, I only have 3 hanks of the Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece, so I didn't have 900yds. Also, I was thinking the 35" size would be a little too big, so I down sized it!

As you can see it's totally all done in one piece. The sleeves are some sort of cap that is just "sculpted" from the rest of the body. I think it's a totally easy piesey little sweater, and the funny thing is that the magazine gives it a 4/5 for difficulty!

Since I was afraid of not having enough yarn, I used a provisional cast on at the bottom for the edging. It's supposed to be 4 or 5 rows of seed stitch, but I'm not sure what color it will be! I might end up with a multi-color sweater if I run out of yarn.

Good call on making it smaller than 35″!! You’re smaller than me and I never make the 35″.
