in Cabled Raglan Baby Sweater, Glam Knits - Texturized Tweed Coat

Baby1 Well, the hand is healing. I don't have to do physical therapy, but I figured knitting would be a good way to get some dexterity back into the fingers. I'm still "broken", but I'm allowed to do things. Just not contact sports. But sky diving should be ok…no contact there, right?

So, I decided that I would start a small project to see how my hands would handle it. There are TONS of babies being born in the next 3-9 months in my world. It's nuts!!! So, I decided I should begin doing some baby knitting so I'm not doing it last minute. I know, I know, I'll still do some of it last minute. I have good intentions!!

I decided to use the Sunshine sock yarn I have lying in wait to make the Cabled Raglan Baby Sweater from the free downloads of Knitting Daily. The price is right for me and I was able to get gauge! Here it is after working on it for only a couple, or maybe one hour. It's moving along pretty well. I'm going to wait to see if the cables get lost in the patten of the yarn. I think it will be ok, but you never know. Tweed3

In addition to the baby sweater, I'm working on the Tweedy Coat. See how far I've gotten! I have more to go, but I think it's turning out really well. And the weather is getting cooler here, so I might get to wear it sooner than later.

In other news, I've started seeing someone. I've contemplated knitting something, but we'll see. You know, curse and all that. More to come on that!!
