in Rusted Root, Zephyr Style

Rustedrootcomplete
Yes, my friends, I have finished the second Rusted Root, and I even wore it to work. Unfortunately, I was unable to coerce one of my coworkers to take a pic of me in it, so you’ll have to do with the mannequin shot for now.  View1_edited

I like the way it turned out, and I think it will be great next year for the spring with a cute little khaki skirt.

Pattern: Zephyr Knits Rusted Root
Yarn: Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece – Pink-a-boo (signature color!)
Needles: Knit Picks sizes 6 & 4
Notes: I made the second size. I did 12 lace repeats plus rows 1&2 for the length. I used size 6 needles for the ribbing on the arms, but size View2_edited
4 on all other ribbing.

In other entertainment, here are a couple shots from my window at work. I have a southern view. It’s a little disappointing in that I don’t have a view of the Sears Tower because, well, I’m in it!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

It turned out great! I agree it will look really cute with a khaki skirt.

Love the color choice. If it’s worth making two, maybe it should move up on my queue 😉
