All I’ve Got is Six Inches

Sixinches
Yup, that’s right. All I have is six inches of ribbing. This lovely orange piece is the back of the Scoop du Jour. I don’t think I could EVER hand knit a fully ribbed garment for myself. I really think I would go insane! I know this is going to turn out great in the end, but seriously, do you know how much a lot of ribbing hurts? It’s sooooo slow…

I love this color, but those of you who have been around awhile know I have a thing for orange. It’s funny how I really don’t own that many orange things despite the fact that I adore it. I guess I am trying to fix that with this cardigan.

Oh, and the Turkey stuff is homework. My International Management group paper is on implementing a paper factory in Turkey. It really is a fascinating country because of where it is located. I work on the homework in between knitting…Shouldn’t it really be the other way around?

I know – wouldn’t all that ribbing kill you?

It looks fantastic though!

It looks great – I didn’t realize there was so much ribbing on the back of the Scoop du Jour. I know what you mean about the ribbing, for awhile there I had two ribbing projects – Eiffel and the Skinny Rib Sweater (almost done with that, thank goodness.)
