This weekend BFF and I went to some forest preserves to check out the beautiful changing leaves. Yeah, apparently, the leaves were not getting the memo that they needed to be changing....There were some pretty trees, but most were still green. But there were a lot of dropping leaves. Sigh.
Anyway, it was cool enough that I could wear my Cozy V-Neck sweater, so we did some pics of me modeling it. This was my favorite, but it is a little blurry. I'll have to go through the pics again and see if I like something better that is a little more in focus. I do have to say this is a really warm nice sweater. And every time BFF sees it he asks if I made it! Says it looks store bought...
In fact, BFF is sort of in awe of this whole little knitting community. He's trying to understand it all, but it's a little overwhleming. I showed him some blogs that I like and read, and he called it all "Cult Knitology". I thought it was kind of funny, but appropriate since we all do follow the trends, fashion, excitement of knitting quite closely....but without the Kool-aid!
The Cozy V-neck sweater looks really good - is that the one you made with the Pastaza? I ended up swatching with that and loving it - it's going to be perfect for Corsica, so thanks for the leftover skein for swatching. BFF is right on about the whole knitting community - it is a little hard to understand (and to explain!!) to people who aren't part of it.
